Jana Wood

Jana Wood is a part-time Auckland based artist. She studied environmental and interior design at Whitecliffe , Visual arts at Artstation, and last year completed Mauri Ora Certificate in Maori culture at Te Wananga.She is currently studying at AUT

Her practice is process-driven and experimental, encompassing paint, photography, installation and printmaking.  Her current work looks at ideas of transience and the vanishing past in our urban environment.  She is actively involved in a heritage group to save historical buildings in her neighbourhood.
